Summary

Equity and Transformation (EAT), a groundbreaking non-profit organization, operates with a unique mission: to amplify the voices and empower the post-incarcerated Black community in Chicago. Founded in 2018, EAT focuses on individuals engaged in the informal economy, a sector often overlooked and underserved. This includes diverse individuals from bucket boys to DVD bootleggers, and commercial sex workers, all striving for survival in a challenging urban landscape.

The Chicago Future Fund is a pivotal project initiated by EAT to address systemic inequalities that push these individuals into poverty and often, back into incarceration. Our collaboration aimed to create a dynamic and impactful landing page for this vital initiative.
